HISTORY


“Income Credit Cooperative began when Davao Light employees were invited to join SCEGAI (LaSociedad Cooperativa de Empleado del Grupo de Aboitiz, Incorporada), a Cebu-based cooperative. Duetolocation challenges, 15 employees from Davao Light decided to establish their own cooperative. OnAugust27, 1991, Income Davao was founded as a closed cooperative exclusively for Davao Light employees. In2022, membership was expanded to include gainfully employed individuals and business owners. Fromits humblebeginnings with 15 members, the cooperative has grown to over a thousand members.”
